The "Panama Canal Sunfarer Holiday" voyage over the 2025/2026 New Year was supposed to be a relaxing celebration at sea. However, for the guests on the MS Rotterdam (Holland America Line), the new year started a little differently than planned. As the first ship within the jurisdiction of US authorities to do so in 2026, the ocean liner reported a significant Norovirus outbreak in January.
