Cruise ship crews regularly train for various emergency scenarios, typically on a weekly basis. The objective is to be optimally prepared for potential emergencies on board at all times, as the safety of all passengers and crew members is the highest priority for cruise lines. In addition to the 16 large-capacity lifeboats, AIDAnova is also equipped with inflatable life rafts to ensure that, in the event of a necessary evacuation at sea, everyone can safely leave the ship.
AIDAnova, the second-largest ship in the AIDA fleet, is based in Germany year-round. Last weekend marked the start of the ship's summer season from Kiel. The schedule includes week-long voyages to either Scandinavian cities or through the fjord landscapes of Norway. These cruises can also be combined into a 14-day itinerary.
AIDAnova Itinerary (April 26 – May 3, 2025): Kiel – Sea Day – Bergen – Nordfjordeid – Ålesund – Sea Day – Copenhagen – Kiel
