Passengers now have more time in Zeebrugge than initially expected. The previous day, they were able to enjoy extended shore excursions into the evening, and the ship is now spending an additional day in the Belgian port.
All pre-booked excursions in Cherbourg have been cancelled due to the itinerary adjustment. As per standard policy, AIDA Cruises will automatically cancel these tours free of charge and refund any payments made. The cruise line often arranges alternative excursions in replacement ports when possible.
This voyage marks the third-to-last departure from Hamburg for AIDAnova in the 2024/25 winter season. Since December, the distinctive "Kissing Lips" ship has been operating weekly cruises to Scandinavia, Southern Norway, and major European cities. Before Easter, two more trips are scheduled—one to Southern Norway and another metropolitan route. Afterwards, the ship will reposition to Kiel for the summer season.
