Passenger Changeover and Trip Highlights
A partial passenger exchange took place in Hamburg, with some German-speaking guests disembarking after their 85-day "Grand Explorer" voyage through South America. The journey was also available in shorter segments. Since Cunard primarily caters to the British market, the main passenger turnover had already occurred in Southampton, UK. Additionally, a two-day mini-cruise from Hamburg back to Southampton departed the same day.
Passengers on the full itinerary experienced an extraordinary route, visiting 46 ports across 22 countries. Highlights included stops in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, the Caribbean, and the United States. A standout moment was the transit of the Panama Canal on March 8, 2025—sailing from the Pacific to the Atlantic coast.
Queen Victoria’s Future Itineraries
No further calls by the Queen Victoria are scheduled in Hamburg this year. However, a total of ten visits by Cunard ships (including the Queen Anne, Queen Mary 2, and Queen Victoria) are planned for the city. After completing several voyages from Southampton—including trips to the Canary Islands—the Queen Victoria will shift its operations to the Mediterranean in summer 2025.
Queen Victoria’s Itinerary (January 4–March 30, 2025):
Hamburg – Amsterdam – Rotterdam – Zeebrugge – Southampton – Praia da Vitoria – Port Canaveral – Fort Lauderdale – Grand Turk – Bridgetown – Fortaleza – Salvador da Bahia – Búzios – Rio de Janeiro – Montevideo – Buenos Aires – Puerto Madryn – Ushuaia – Punta Arenas – Puerto Montt – San Antonio – Coquimbo – Arica – Callao – Manta – Oranjestad – Nassau – Fort Lauderdale – Freeport – Hamilton – Ponta Delgada – Southampton – Hamburg
With this remarkable voyage, Cunard Line reaffirms its reputation for delivering luxurious and diverse cruise experiences.
