AIDAdiva Kicks Off the Season with New Italian Show "Ciao, Italia"
On Saturday evening, the new stage production "Ciao, Italia" made its grand debut aboard the AIDAdiva. Developed by AIDA Entertainment, the spectacular show delighted guests with a vibrant celebration of Italian culture, perfectly complementing the ship’s current itinerary through Italy and Malta.

For the first time, the AIDA Stars performed beloved hits and classics in Italian, accompanied by elaborate costumes and iconic props such as pizza, pasta, and a stylish Vespa scooter. The show served as the highlight of the themed voyage "Falling in Love with AIDAdiva All Over Again." Following its successful premiere, the ship docked in Civitavecchia, the port of Rome, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, for a passenger changeover.

Modernization After Dry Dock

Prior to the premiere, AIDAdiva underwent a seven-week dry dock refurbishment at Chantiers Naval de Marseille in France. The ship received not only technical upgrades but also new entertainment features. The Theatrium was enhanced with modern seating and cutting-edge stage technology, including an upgraded sound system, lighting, and laser effects, creating an even cozier and more immersive atmosphere.

Additional Performances Planned

After its successful launch on AIDAdiva, "Ciao, Italia" is set to be introduced on other ships in the AIDA fleet in the coming months. Exact dates and itineraries for future performances have not yet been announced.
