According to AIDA Cruises, the option to apply for a "Visa on Arrival" was only recently introduced. To ensure a hassle-free experience for guests, the AIDAprima will remain in port until the originally scheduled departure time on April 1. The necessary entry procedures will be carried out on March 31 and may take up to three hours.
Walvis Bay, one of Namibia's most picturesque ports, is located on the edge of the Namib Desert and captivates visitors with its natural beauty, diverse landscapes, and abundant wildlife. The region is considered one of the highlights of any trip to Africa.
The AIDAprima recently concluded its 2024/25 Orient season and is currently on a transoceanic voyage across the Indian Ocean and along the African coast toward the Canary Islands. The ship is expected to arrive in time for the 2025 Easter holidays to conduct two week-long cruises on the popular "Canary Islands & Madeira from Gran Canaria" route. Following this, the AIDAprima will embark on a Western Europe voyage before starting its summer season in Nordic waters.
Itinerary of the AIDAprima from March 28 to April 12, 2025:
