AIDAdiva Ready for Return: Modernizations Completed, First Guests Await

The shipyard stay of AIDAdiva at Chantiers Naval de Marseille is nearing its end. The ship is already back in the water, showcasing a refreshed exterior. The countdown to its return to service is underway: On Sunday, March 23, 2025, AIDAdiva will welcome its first guests after a seven-week shipyard period. Currently, numerous renovated interior areas are receiving final touches to ensure a flawless experience for passengers.

Some of the onboard modernizations have already been completed. These include the Rossini Restaurant, which now doubles as an exclusive lounge for suite guests during the day, the redesigned Fun Park Kids on the sports deck, and parts of the wellness area, which has been expanded to include a nail spa and additional wellness suites. In total, the AIDA Evolution project encompassed around 250 individual upgrades. Approximately 2,000 external workers and 600 crew members worked around the clock in shifts to bring these changes to life.

The first guests can look forward to a host of new features. AIDAdiva will depart from Civitavecchia, Italy, on March 23, 2025, embarking on three spring voyages to Italy and Malta. Following a summer season in Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea, the ship will set off on its first world cruise during the 2025/26 winter season.
