MSC Virtuosa will be a hip entertainment destination for travelers this summer with new concepts that expand its already impressive offering. The ship will set sail from its homeport in Southampton for cruises to destinations such as the stunning Norwegian fjords, the metropolitan cities of the Baltic, the Canary Islands and the Atlantic coast of Europe.
The highlight of the new entertainment offering is “Dirty Dancing in Concert” - a live-to-movie concert experience that brings the popular Lionsgate film to the stage. The show combines a live band with sensational singers and talented dancers who bring the story of the classic film to life.
The spectacle will premiere on July 10, 2025 - just in time for the start of the summer vacations. The MSC Virtuosa is the only ship in this region on which the show will be shown. The live experience will also be shown on board MSC World America in the Caribbean.
Guests will have several opportunities to experience “Dirty Dancing in Concert” during each cruise. The 90-minute live-to-movie concert features a band, singers and dancers performing in sync with the classic movie. The experience culminates in an energetic finale where guests are invited to sing along and dance the night away at a “Dirty Dancing in Concert” after-party.
In addition to “Dirty Dancing in Concert”, guests can expect two other new shows in the theater: “Songbook ABBA” presents the greatest hits of the cult band ABBA, interpreted by a fantastic theater cast. “Starwalker” focuses on the legendary music of Michael Jackson and his hits, while a talented ensemble performs his unforgettable dance style.

The concept was developed by the talented creative team at Only Child Productions, known for their work with Kylie Minogue, Netflix and the VOUGE.
NEW! Carousel Lounge Shows - The Carousel Lounge will feature two brand new Cirque Aerial shows, one starting in June 2025 and the other starting this fall. Production is already underway and the official names will soon be chosen and announced by families and children on board.
NEW! Daytime Activities - Innovative sports, games and entertainment for guests of all ages.
NEW! MSC Street Theatre - Surprise pop-up performances by world-class entertainers at various venues around the ship, including poolside, bars, restaurants and the lively promenade.
