Changes in the Itinerary of Mein Schiff 1’s “Best of Central America” Cruise 2025

The “Best of Central America” cruise aboard Mein Schiff 1, which began on January 31, 2025, has undergone adjustments to its planned itinerary. Instead of a scheduled day at sea, the ship anchored at the tender port of Georgetown on the island of Grand Cayman on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. This stop replaces the originally planned visit to the island of Cozumel off the coast of Mexico, which was set for Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

The planned call to Cozumel cannot be rescheduled and has been completely cancelled. Instead, Mein Schiff 1 spent Wednesday at sea en route to Costa Maya. The ship is expected to arrive at the Mexican port on the Atlantic coast on Thursday morning, resuming its regular schedule.

Mein Schiff 1 will continue its two-week winter route, “Best of Central America,” until early April 2025. The journey begins and ends either in La Romana in the Dominican Republic or in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Passengers on the current voyage with the adjusted itinerary boarded either on January 31, 2025, in La Romana or on February 3, 2025, in Montego Bay.
