Unlike the 2025/2026 World Cruise on AIDAdiva, which mainly explores the Northern Hemisphere, the 2026/2027 World Cruise on AIDAsol focuses on the Southern Hemisphere. Highlights include a 4-day journey through the Amazon, 11 days in the South Pacific, 3 days in the Chilean Fjords, 6 overnight stays, and an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration in Sydney.
Once-in-a-Lifetime Experiences Across Four Continents
AIDA’s eighth World Cruise promises a captivating journey across South America, the Amazon, the South Pacific, Australia, the Indian Ocean, and South Africa before returning to Hamburg. Over 126 days, guests will visit 20 countries, 43 ports, cross the equator twice, and navigate iconic routes such as the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Horn.
Return to the Amazon
For the first time in 13 years, AIDA Cruises is returning to the Amazon. The world’s second-longest river winds through lush rainforests teeming with unique wildlife and flora. Along with Santarém, the itinerary includes Boca da Valeria, a secluded village accessible only by tender boats, offering a rare glimpse into a region untouched by mass tourism.
Eleven Days in the South Pacific
The South Pacific portion of the cruise visits paradise-like destinations such as Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji, and Aitutaki. Aitutaki, part of the Cook Islands, is featured on an AIDA World Cruise for the first time, offering guests the chance to explore turquoise waters, tropical landscapes, and warm weather year-round.
Cultural Richness and Adventure
Guests will explore vibrant cities and remote destinations, including Rio de Janeiro with its iconic Copacabana Beach, Buenos Aires, and Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. The journey also passes through Chile’s Glacier Alley and the mystical Easter Island. Australia features prominently with six stops, including Sydney, where guests will welcome the New Year with a spectacular fireworks display. The final leg of the voyage takes guests to South Africa, with highlights such as the breathtaking Table Mountain in Cape Town and thrilling safaris departing from Port Elizabeth.
