On Monday, January 20, 2025, AIDAmar makes its first call of the year at the Port of Hamburg. This iconic ship, known for its "kissing lips" design, is being used for extended winter cruises departing from Hamburg. As part of today’s guest turnover, a 43-day Christmas and New Year’s cruise to the Caribbean concludes, while another Caribbean winter voyage begins.

The new voyage, taking place from January 20 to March 4, 2025, is the second and final Caribbean winter cruise of the current season. The itinerary includes stops in Great Britain, Spain, and the Canary Islands before heading to the Caribbean. In the Caribbean, the ship will visit destinations in the southeastern region and the Colombian ports of Cartagena and Santa Marta. On the return journey, stops are planned in the Azores, Portugal, and France before the cruise concludes back in Hamburg.

Additional Cruises for the Winter Season from Hamburg

After returning on March 4, 2025, AIDAmar will embark on a 21-day Canary Islands winter cruise and another journey along the “Winter in the Far North” route. Following these voyages, the ship will transition to Warnemünde for the 2025 summer season. For several years, this Baltic Sea resort in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has served as AIDAmar’s summer departure port.

Plans for the 2025/26 Winter Season

In the upcoming 2025/26 winter season, AIDAmar will again operate winter cruises from Hamburg. A 43-day Caribbean voyage is scheduled from November 9 to December 22, 2025. Additionally, the ship will offer a 21-day Canary Islands cruise and, for the first time, a new 48-day winter journey to South America.
