AIDAdiva will be extensively modernized in spring 2025: New show and technical upgrades on board

In spring 2025, the AIDAdiva will undergo a comprehensive modernization as part of the AIDA Evolution program. One of the special highlights of this update is the introduction of a new show in the Theatrium. Arndt Sedler, Vice President Entertainment at AIDA, has already revealed that the new show will be inspired by a festive Italian theme. With spectacular costumes, impressive singing and an elaborate production, AIDA aims to bring the Italian lifestyle to the stage and offer guests an unforgettable experience.

Technical upgrades in the Theatrium: state-of-the-art sound and lighting technology

In addition to the new show, the Theatrium will also be brought up to the latest technical standards. The installation of state-of-the-art sound systems and innovative lighting and laser technology is planned. These technical upgrades are intended to intensify the show experience and provide even more impressive entertainment on board. More comfort for guests: new seating options in the Theatrium

Since its introduction in 2007, the AIDAdiva's Theatrium has offered a special atmosphere. As part of the modernization, this area is now being redesigned to offer guests even more comfort. The seating will be redesigned and restructured to create a cozier “living room atmosphere”. This should improve the view of the stage and increase comfort for guests.

AIDA has announced additional details about the planned changes in a new video from the “Super wird Mega” series. For example, the popular AIDA pixels photo world will continue to be present in the Theatrium. The casino, which is currently located on deck 10, will be relocated from the starboard to the port side and will probably be slightly reduced in size. In addition, new information screens will be installed on deck 5 and around the Theatrium to provide guests with up-to-date information at all times.
