There has been a change of plan on the current cruise “Autumnal Northern Lights from Warnemünde” with the AIDAmar. Due to a storm and unfavorable weather conditions, the ship has to adjust its route and therefore cannot call at the ports of Leknes and Sortland as planned. Instead, the program now includes two additional days at sea, followed by a longer stay in Alta, where AIDAmar is expected to anchor for three days. Passengers were informed of these changes directly by the captain on board.

The voyage started on Sunday, November 3, 2024, in Warnemünde, from where the AIDAmar will now embark on a 14-day route to Hamburg. After arriving in Hamburg at the end of the voyage, AIDAmar will be prepared for winter operations and will embark on two longer winter stays. First, a three-week winter break to the Canary Islands will start on November 17, 2024, before the ship sets off on an extended winter voyage to the Caribbean from December 8, 2024, which will finally end in Hamburg on January 20, 2025.
