AIDAbella: Storm off Norway causes cancellation of Bodø call

The current cruise of the AIDAbella along the Norwegian coast is affected by unpredictable weather conditions. An approaching storm depression in the region has forced the ship to adjust its route. Originally, a stop in the port of Bodø was scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2024, with a planned layover time of 09:00 to 18:00. However, due to the forecast weather conditions, it is not possible to dock there safely, which is why the port stop has been completely canceled.

The captain has already informed the passengers via an announcement on board that the port of Bodø cannot be called at as planned. An alternative destination will not be called at, so this call will not be made.

Whether Wednesday will be used as a sea day instead or whether there will be further changes in the course of the cruise remains to be seen. The crew will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments if necessary.
