Mein Schiff Flow: TUI Cruises Searching for a Fan as Godmother for New Ocean Liner
The ninth member of the fleet belongs to the brand-new InTUItion class and will set sail in the summer of 2026. Built at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard, the vessel boasts a gross tonnage (GT) of around 160,000. With an impressive length of 333 meters, the ship offers space for nearly 4,000 guests in almost 2,000 cabins and suites.
For the passengers, the new build brings one crucial advantage: significantly more space. If you compare the Mein Schiff Flow with older ships like the Mein Schiff 7, the volume of the ship has grown much faster than the actual passenger capacity. True to the fleet's motto "Experience lightness anew", this translates to noticeably more freedom, less crowding, and even more room to relax during an ocean holiday.
For the parent company, the TUI Group, the fleet expansion arrives at the perfect time. Following a record-breaking start to the 2026 financial year with strong revenue figures, the Mein Schiff Flow is poised to serve as a major driver of earnings. The highly profitable cruise division thus remains an absolute powerhouse for the group, securing its economic course for the future.
