Queen Anne Introduces Entrance Fees for Select Shows
Cunard explains in its FAQs that these fees cover additional benefits. For the shows "Fizz" and "Noir," the charge is $20 per person, which includes a glass of champagne, a souvenir program, and the service charge.
A third show, the "Bitter Sweet Symphony," costs $46 per person. According to Cunard, this price includes three cocktails in addition to the service fee.
The Bright Lights Society bar is described by Cunard as the ship's “most intimate and immersive entertainment venue.” It offers exclusive live performances in a cabaret-style theater, combined with the atmosphere of an upscale cocktail lounge.
Bookings can be made via Cunard's My Voyage app or directly on board at the Purser's Office. Since spaces for these popular shows are limited, the cruise line advises guests to book early to avoid disappointment.
Passenger reports on social media indicate that the fees were introduced in late May 2025 and have received mixed reactions. Some travelers were enthusiastic, praising the high talent of the performers, while others expressed their disappointment that Cunard is now following a similar path to other cruise lines by introducing additional charges for what were previously included amenities.
The Queen Anne was built at the Fincantieri shipyard and entered service in May 2024. At the time, Cunard emphasized that the ship was designed to reflect the brand's evolution, offering a modernized design, new features, and restaurants.
