The Meyer Werft's schedule for the next year and a half includes only a few cruise ship deliveries, as no new cruise ships are slated for completion in 2026. This autumn, the third Wish-class vessel, the Disney Destiny, will be handed over to Disney Cruise Line. The next major cruise ship, the Carnival Festivale for Carnival Cruise Line, is not scheduled until early 2027. In the interim, the shipyard is also working on other projects, such as the construction of offshore converter platforms for wind farms.
Few details have been released so far about the fourth, currently unnamed, new Disney ship. However, its exterior design and basic layout are expected to be consistent with its sister ships. Further information regarding the interior spaces, onboard activities, and future itineraries will be announced by Disney Cruise Line at a later date.
Over the past few years, Disney Cruise Line has become one of Meyer Werft's most important clients. The cruise line, part of the U.S. entertainment giant, previously took delivery of two new builds from the shipyard, the Disney Dream in 2010 and the Disney Fantasy in 2012. For the subsequent generation, the Wish-class, Disney again chose to collaborate with the Papenburg-based shipbuilder. The shipyard's order books also include three additional, slightly smaller Disney ships of a new generation, scheduled for delivery by 2031.
Preliminary Ship Data for the Fourth Wish-class Ship:

- Shipyard: Meyer Werft Papenburg (Germany)
- Number of Cabins and Suites: 1,256
