Bremerhaven – Yesterday, August 7, 2025, marked the beginning of an extraordinary cruise for passengers of the MS Artania in Bremerhaven. At the Columbus Cruise Terminal, guests boarded for a nine-night journey that will take them to Scandinavian destinations and two of Germany's largest maritime festivals.

The ship, operating exclusively for the Bonn-based tour operator Phoenix Reisen, is following a carefully planned itinerary. Under the theme "Scandinavian Highlights and Maritime Folk Festivals," the cruise will visit not only well-known metropolises like Oslo but also less frequented ports such as Mukran on the island of Rügen, Kalundborg in Denmark, and Lysekil in Sweden. This unique routing is a hallmark of many of the operator's cruises.

A central aspect of this voyage is the partnership with the "Fly & Help" foundation. Passengers have already supported this initiative with their booking, which is dedicated to children's education worldwide and uses donations to fund school projects in developing countries. The foundation's founder, Reiner Meutsch, is personally accompanying the cruise.

Musical entertainment on board will be provided by a lineup of well-known German Schlager music artists. Guests can look forward to performances by Anita Hofmann, Michael Morgan, Olaf Berger, and Olaf Henning.

A special highlight for passengers is the integration of two major maritime events. During the voyage, a stop in Warnemünde will allow for a visit to the famous Hanse Sail. The grand finale will take place upon returning to Bremerhaven: on arrival on August 15, 2025, the SAiL Bremerhaven festival will be underway. To give guests ample time to experience this event, the MS Artania will remain docked overnight. The cruise officially concludes on August 16.

Another spectacular event awaits guests in Bremerhaven on August 15: on this day, the entire ocean-going fleet of Phoenix Reisen will gather at the Columbus Quay. In addition to the MS Artania, the MS Deutschland, MS Amera, and MS Amadea are also expected. This cruise, which started yesterday, thus promises to be a diverse and unforgettable experience.

Itinerary of MS Artania from Aug 07 to Aug 16, 2025: Bremerhaven – Sea Day – Warnemünde – Mukran (Rügen) – Kalundborg – Lysekil – Oslo – Skagen – Bremerhaven (Overnight) – Bremerhaven (End of cruise)
