For the Baltic Sea port, this is the sixth maiden call of a cruise ship in 2025. Arriving from the Latvian capital of Riga, the "Ilma" is expected at berth P7 around 8:00 AM. Following a full-day stay that allows passengers to explore the region, the ship will continue its journey at approximately 10:00 PM, setting course for Copenhagen.
The "Ilma," which only entered service in 2024, is a vessel of distinction. With a length of about 241 meters, she accommodates 456 guests in an atmosphere that mirrors the luxury of the world-renowned Ritz-Carlton hotels. The cruise line specializes in ultra-luxury cruise experiences, having launched its first yacht, "Evrima," in 2022. Following "Ilma" (2024), the fleet was expanded this year with its sister ship, "Luminara." During the current summer season, the "Ilma" is navigating the waters of Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea for the first time.
The visit from "Ilma" is part of an impressive season for Warnemünde. A total of 167 calls by 36 different cruise ships, operated by 23 cruise lines, are scheduled for 2025. One final maiden call for the year is anticipated on August 21 with the arrival of "Le Lapérouse" from the cruise line Ponant. The cruise season is expected to conclude on December 18 with a call from "Amadea" of Phoenix Reisen.
