Captain Boris Becker informed passengers of the necessary change today, Monday, during a day at sea. Strong winds are expected for the originally planned call in Haugesund tomorrow, Tuesday, July 29, 2025. These weather conditions would not guarantee a safe departure for the ship in the late afternoon. As the safety of guests and crew is the highest priority, the ship's command decided on this preventive measure.
Instead of visiting Haugesund, AIDAluna will now spend Tuesday at sea. As a replacement for the canceled port, the ship will dock in Narvik on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This call replaces the sea day originally planned for that day. The cruise line is already working intensively to organize an attractive shore excursion program for the stay in Narvik. The new tours are expected to be available for booking by guests sometime tomorrow.
The subsequent ports of call on the voyage, starting with Leknes in the Lofoten Islands on Thursday, are scheduled to proceed as planned.
