Kreuzfahrt-Überraschung: Norwegian Aura und Hero of the Seas starten früher

Eine handfeste Überraschung auf dem Kreuzfahrtmarkt: Die renommierten Werften Fincantieri in Italien und Meyer Turku in Finnland liefern zwei der am meisten erwarteten Kreuzfahrtschiffe deutlich früher aus als geplant. Die „Norwegian Aura“ (Norwegian Cruise Line) und die „Hero of the Seas“ (Royal Caribbean International) werden im Frühjahr und Sommer 2027 Wochen vor dem eigentlichen Termin in Dienst gestellt. Möglich macht diesen rasanten Baufortschritt eine enorme Effizienzsteigerung der Werften. Dazu gehören unter anderem komplett vorgefertigte Kabinen („turnkey cabins“) und das Vorziehen von Rohr- und Kabelinstallationen durch sogenanntes „Advanced Outfitting Work“.

This rapid construction progress is made possible by an enormous increase in shipbuilding efficiency.
