Hero of the Seas: „The SpongeBob Musical“ und neue Highlights ab August 2027

Royal Caribbean has unveiled the entertainment lineup for its newest fleet addition: the Broadway production "The SpongeBob Musical" will make its high-seas debut aboard the Hero of the Seas. Currently under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, the fourth ship in the Icon Class is scheduled to enter service in August 2027. With this production, the cruise line continues to expand its focus on multigenerational family entertainment. Far from being a simple children's show, the Tony Award-winning musical features an original storyline centered on saving Bikini Bottom, an imaginative stage design that avoids clunky mascot costumes, and original songs written by world-renowned artists including David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, and Aerosmith.
