MSC Euribia Starts 2025 Summer Season in Kiel: Weekly Cruises to Norwegian Fjords Begin

Throughout the day, passenger embarkation is taking place at the cruise terminal in Ostuferhafen. Guests are checking in for the season's inaugural voyage, scheduled from May 3rd to May 10th, 2025. This first cruise will initially head to Copenhagen, followed by three destinations along the Norwegian coast.

Until mid-October, MSC Euribia is now scheduled to call at Kiel every Saturday. It will share the port day with AIDAnova, another large cruise ship. Both vessels will operate week-long voyages departing from Kiel. MSC Euribia's weekly itineraries will focus on the Norwegian fjords. However, the first port of call on these routes will consistently be the Danish capital, Copenhagen, which also serves as a secondary embarkation and disembarkation port.

From Tuesday to Thursday, MSC Euribia's schedule includes visits to three or four ports in Norway. Highlights of the fjord route typically include Ålesund on the west coast, Flåm on the Aurlandsfjord, and Geiranger on the Geirangerfjord. However, the specific selection of Norwegian ports may vary depending on the departure date. For instance, the "Seawalk" pier in the Geirangerfjord will only see regular calls starting in June. Planned stops in Geiranger for May 2025 were recently cancelled; instead, the ship will spend a full day in Hellesylt at the entrance to the fjord.

MSC Euribia, which was commissioned in Northern Europe in 2023 and christened in Copenhagen, is now embarking on its third summer season in the region. Since its debut, it has consistently offered week-long summer cruises departing from either Kiel or Copenhagen. With the start of MSC Euribia's operations, MSC Cruises' summer 2025 program from German ports is now complete. The cruise line also operates MSC Preziosa from Hamburg and MSC Poesia from Rostock-Warnemünde.
