Galveston, Texas – The Galveston cruise terminal became the scene of a significant violent altercation last Saturday, April 26, 2025. The incident occurred during the disembarkation of passengers from the cruise ship Carnival Jubilee. Reports indicate that over 20 individuals were involved in the physical confrontation within the terminal's baggage claim area. This event now entails serious consequences for the guests involved.

The precise causes leading to the escalation are currently under police investigation. Relevant law enforcement agencies have initiated inquiries into the incident. Video footage documents a group of individuals targeting two men. Although terminal security personnel intervened promptly, restoring order proved challenging.

Carnival Cruise Line has officially confirmed the incident and announced strict measures to a cruise news outlet. A spokesperson for the cruise line stated, "We do not tolerate such behavior. 24 individuals have been placed on our 'Do-Not-Sail' list. While they may travel with other cruise lines, they are no longer welcome on our ships."

This action translates to a lifetime ban for the identified participants on all Carnival Cruise Line vessels. Should they wish to undertake a cruise in the future, they must opt for offerings from different providers. It is hoped that future travels of these individuals will proceed without violent incidents.

The Carnival Jubilee, from which the now-banned passengers disembarked, is permanently homeported in Galveston, Texas, for Western Caribbean cruises. The ship belongs to the Excel class and was delivered to the American cruise line by the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, in the fall of 2023.
