Mein Schiff Relax: X-View Restaurant Opens for All Guests in the Evening

The X-View Restaurant aboard the new Mein Schiff Relax, initially conceived as an exclusive area for suite and junior suite guests, is undergoing a significant change in its usage policy. TUI Cruises has decided to adjust the concept originally planned solely for suite guests. Going forward, the restaurant on the first ship of the InTUItion class will generally be open to all passengers, albeit with time restrictions for non-suite guests.

This adjustment follows internal considerations within the cruise line and represents a compromise. Specifically, this means the X-View restaurant will be accessible to passengers without suite bookings only from 6:30 PM onwards for dinner service. During breakfast and lunch hours, the area retains its exclusive character and remains reserved for guests of the Junior Suites and Suites.

Whether this new, hybrid usage concept will prove successful in practice remains to be seen. Interested passengers without suite bookings can already make table reservations for dinner at the X-View Restaurant.

According to the official description from TUI Cruises, the yacht-club-style X-View is located on Deck 16 and is directly connected to the X-Sundeck. It features a wide window front offering guests excellent views. During the day, an included buffet is available to Junior Suite and Suite guests. In the evening, exclusive dishes and beverages, which are not included in the cruise fare, are offered. The description confirms the exclusive use for breakfast and lunch by suite guests, as well as the general opening from 6:30 PM.
