To ensure a smooth passenger turnaround, the Mein Schiff Relax will remain in the port of Palma de Mallorca for two days each time. This allows the final disembarking guests from the christening voyage to leave the ship on Thursday. Simultaneously, this overnight stay in the embarkation and disembarkation port offers all passengers the opportunity for a shore excursion in Mallorca at the beginning or end of their cruise. The TUI Cruises newbuild will be positioned in Palma for Western Mediterranean cruises until the end of October 2025.
As the lead vessel of the new InTUItion class, the Mein Schiff Relax was constructed at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone and delivered to TUI Cruises in February of this year. Since officially entering service in early March, the ship has been sailing the Western Mediterranean. Onboard, guests can expect a combination of innovative new areas and established concepts familiar from other ships in the Mein Schiff fleet. Although the ship's structure differs from previous vessels, the characteristic Mein Schiff design is clearly recognizable.
Following its premiere season featuring various itineraries in the Western Mediterranean, the Mein Schiff Relax will relocate to the Canary Islands for the 2025/2026 winter season. There, it will operate the one-week "Canaries with Madeira" route, with embarkation options in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, or Santa Cruz, Tenerife. For the summer season of 2026, deployment from Germany is planned for the first time: Departing from Kiel, the first InTUItion-class ship will embark on cruises in Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea. The Western Mediterranean routes will be taken over next summer by the Mein Schiff Flow, the second newbuild of this ship class.
