TUI Cruises Advances Mein Schiff Flow Debut: Booking Opens for Additional Summer 2026 Sailings
The cruise line TUI Cruises has brought forward the market launch of its new build, the Mein Schiff Flow, by approximately one month. As part of opening further booking options for the 2026 summer season, a total of six additional departure dates for the new ship have now been released. The earliest currently bookable cruise is a nine-day voyage through the Western Mediterranean, starting on either July 19 or 20, 2026, from Palma de Mallorca.

Previously, voyages on the Mein Schiff Flow were only scheduled to start from August 16, 2026. With the current expansion of the schedule, in addition to the first nine-day trip (starting July 19/20), another identical route (starting July 28/29) and a ten-day cruise (starting August 6/7, 2026) are now available.

However, TUI Cruises clarifies that the voyage departing from Palma de Mallorca on July 19/20, 2026, is explicitly not the ship's official maiden voyage or christening cruise. Precise information and dates regarding the christening and the formal commissioning of the Mein Schiff Flow in the summer of 2026 have not yet been announced. These details are expected to be released in the coming months.

Currently, the cruise line's focus is on the upcoming christening of the sister ship, Mein Schiff Relax. This event is scheduled for April 9, 2025, in Malaga.

The Mein Schiff Flow, which will operate under the slogan "Experience lightness anew" ("Leichtigkeit neu erleben"), is planned to commence operations in the summer season of 2026. The vessel, a sister ship to Mein Schiff Relax, is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. TUI Cruises has not yet released any visual previews or detailed reports on the current construction progress. The delivery of Mein Schiff Flow to the cruise line is expected in the second quarter of 2026.
