After a brief pause near the Falkland Islands, located in the South Atlantic off the coast of South America, the MSC Magnifica continued its voyage toward Cape Horn. On Saturday, the ship successfully navigated the famous southern tip of the continent and proceeded to Ushuaia, Argentina. Known as the "End of the World," Ushuaia is a popular starting point for Antarctic expeditions and a highlight of many cruise itineraries. The MSC Magnifica arrived in Ushuaia a day ahead of schedule and will remain in port until its originally planned departure on Monday evening.
From Ushuaia, the MSC Magnifica will continue its journey along the Chilean coast to Valparaíso. There, a portion of the passengers will disembark, and the ship will then set sail across the Pacific Ocean toward the South Seas.
