AIDAstella Begins Its Asian Adventure with a Maiden Call in Port Klang

Since December 2, 2024, AIDAstella has been sailing on its third and final positioning cruise to Asia. On Sunday, December 15, 2024, the ship made its first-ever call at Port Klang, the port city close to Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. This stop also marks the start of its new winter cruising season in Southeast Asia.

Before completing the three-week voyage from Dubai to Laem Chabang, near Bangkok, Thailand, AIDAstella will visit several additional ports. Upcoming stops include Singapore, Phu Quoc in Vietnam, Sihanoukville in Cambodia, and Koh Samui off Thailand’s coast. After concluding this segment, the ship will officially begin the 2024/25 winter season with its first guest turnaround in Laem Chabang on December 23, 2024.
