In the course of updating the cruise itineraries and cancelations for the upcoming winter season 2025/2026, AIDA Cruises has also announced a scheduled maintenance stop for the ship AIDAprima in Northern Europe. This planning led to further voyage cancellations. The stop at the shipyard will take place directly after the ship's return to Europe.

The shipyard has confirmed the planned maintenance period from April 28, 2026 to May 21, 2026. Due to the length of the stay, a comprehensive dry dock service is expected during which the ship will be routinely inspected and maintained. More detailed information about the specific work is not yet available.

Furthermore, AIDA Cruises will release AIDAprima's new transatlantic itineraries for fall 2025 and spring 2026 as well as the revised schedule for booking on January 7, 2025.
