Im Zuge der Aktualisierungen der Kreuzfahrtrouten und Stornierungen für die kommende Wintersaison 2025/2026 hat AIDA Cruises auch einen planmäßigen Wartungsstopp für das Schiff AIDAprima in Nordeuropa angekündigt. Diese Planung führte zu weiteren Reiseabsagen. Der Aufenthalt in der Werft wird direkt nach der Rückkehr des Schiffs nach Europa stattfinden.
