Another important milestone has been reached for the Mein Schiff fleet: the new cruise ship “Mein Schiff Flow”, the second ship in the Intuition class, was recently laid down in Monfalcone, Italy. The festive ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard took place less than a year after the ship's steel was cut. Among those present at the ceremony were Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises, and Fincantieri Director Christiano Bazzara.

The new ship will be built according to the same construction principle as the “Mein Schiff Relax”, which will be commissioned in the coming months. It is being built using a modular block construction method, in which the front section (known as the trocone section) of the ship was positioned first and connected to other blocks. Over the course of the construction period, the ship will continuously take on its final form by adding further modules.

The maiden voyages of Mein Schiff Flow are planned for mid-2026 in the Mediterranean. The travel diary with the planned routes can already be viewed online, and the start of bookings will be announced shortly.

Despite the lengthy construction phase, TUI Cruises has already provided initial insights into the future ship. The first renderings and details of the interior and exterior areas have already been published and can be viewed online.
