Disney Adventure: Details of the new cruise ship revealed - maiden voyage from December 2025

Disney Cruise Line has now published comprehensive information on the upcoming newbuilding Disney Adventure. The ship, which is currently under construction at Meyer Wismar, will embark on its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025. The ship will be based at the Marina Bay Cruise Center in Singapore for at least five years, in close cooperation with the Singapore Tourism Board. The new three- and four-day itineraries will be presented as early as November 14, 2024, with bookings possible from December 10, 2024.

In the last few days, Disney Cruise Line has provided even deeper insights into the Disney Adventure's interior and themed worlds, revealing significantly more details about the planned experiences on board. As you would expect, the ship will offer extensive Disney entertainment, including two experience areas that particularly catch the eye: Toy Story Place and Marvel Landing. These areas on the upper deck provide a real theme park feeling with their themes.


The entertainment highlights include not only elaborate shows in the Walt Disney Theater, but also the Wayfinder Bay at the stern of the ship, which is a creative mix of sun deck, stage and pool. Inspired by the Disney film “Vaiana”, this area offers entertainment with an impressive backdrop.


For families, the San Fransokyo Street adventure area offers exciting high-tech attractions. The Marvel Landing, where there will even be a roller coaster, awaits adventure seekers on the upper deck - Disney will be the second cruise line after Carnival Cruise Line to offer such an attraction on a cruise ship. Directly adjacent is the water park in Toy Story Place, which is particularly appealing to families with younger children. Of course, there are also classic sunbathing areas and pools that invite you to relax.

Guests can immerse themselves in the magical world of Disney in the restaurants and bars. Other adventure areas such as the Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef and Town Square offer a variety of activities for the whole family.

In an official press release, Disney Cruise Line emphasized that when the ship debuts on December 15, 2025, it will present unique entertainment, exquisite gastronomy and themed worlds aimed specifically at the Asian audience. Disney Adventure will debut three brand new Marvel attractions on the upper decks, including the Ironcycle Test Run roller coaster - the longest of its kind on the high seas.

The culinary variety on board ranges from international specialties to world-famous Asian dishes. Entertainment also remains at a high level: a Broadway musical specially developed for the Disney Adventure called “Remember” will delight guests. The ship's cabins offer luxury and comfort in various categories to meet the needs of every travel group.


Interested parties can book their cruise on the Disney Adventure from December 10, 2024. Prices and further departure dates will be published on November 14, 2024.
