As the second vessel in the innovative InTUItion class, the ship prioritizes advanced environmental technology. Powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), it will utilize eco-friendly bio-LNG during the 2026 summer season. For port operations, the ship is equipped with Euro 6-standard catalytic converters and a shore power connection. Since port layovers account for roughly 40 percent of operational time, this technology significantly reduces emissions in coastal destinations. Originally scheduled to spend the winter of 2026/27 in the Middle East, the cruise line responded flexibly to security risks in the Red Sea, redeploying the vessel to Northern Europe and the Canary Islands instead.
Onboard, the InTUItion class breaks away from the design of older fleet members, embracing an open "neighborhood" concept. The heart of the ship is the light-flooded "Diamant" Atrium, spanning decks 3 to 5. Culinary and cultural highlights include 14 restaurants and 17 bars, featuring the Asian fusion restaurant "Fugu" by Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue, and the main restaurant "Atlantik," located at the aft extending from port to starboard. A mini-festival with live performances by Rea Garvey and Tim Bendzko, along with yoga and creative workshops, completes the onboard entertainment.
The evening's christening ceremony, themed "Go with the Flow," departs from industry traditions: instead of a single stage-centered show, the event will be staged decentrally across the ship. Furthermore, for the first time, three women selected from the fan community will jointly serve as godmothers across different generations. Thanks to a state-of-the-art hybrid satellite platform provided by Marlink, the entire ceremony will be live-streamed online in high definition starting at 9:45 PM.
