In June 2026, TUI Cruises is celebrating the christening of its newest fleet member, the "Mein Schiff Flow". Instead of a brief ceremony, guests can look forward to an eight-day christening voyage through the Mediterranean, culminating in the festive highlight on June 20 in Trieste, Italy. The ship, part of the new InTUItion class, accommodates nearly 4,000 passengers. Under the motto "Go with the Flow," the focus of this holiday at sea is on relaxation and personal space.

A genuine novelty is the choice of the godmother: For the first time, she is selected directly from the loyal fan community. On board, a decentralized "Your Flow Festival" ensures that guests can spread out comfortably and completely relaxed. Musical highlights are provided by singers Rea Garvey and Tim Bendzko, while artist Christian Awe creates live artworks on board. On the evening of the official christening, a spectacular variety show on the water will additionally enchant the audience.

The new ship also sets modern standards in terms of culinary delights and architecture. Star chef Tim Raue and mixologist Linh Nguyen provide special taste experiences. Whether to starboard or port – the ship offers diverse cabin concepts, ranging from practical single cabins to an exclusive Loft Suite with its own infrared sauna. A special eye-catcher is the organically shaped woven roof spanning the spacious 25-meter pool, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Due to the current security situation in the Middle East, TUI Cruises has adjusted the 2026/2027 winter schedule early on and replaced the Orient voyages with safe, alternative routes. Furthermore, the "Mein Schiff Flow" scores with state-of-the-art environmental technology. It features shore power connections for emission-free port operations, an advanced waste recycling system, and dual-fuel engines. Prospectively, the latter can also be powered by climate-neutral e-methanol.
