Today, Saturday, May 2, 2026, the "Queen Anne" docked right on time at 07:00 AM at the Cruise Center HafenCity in Hamburg. The Cunard Line luxury ship is celebrating the successful return from its 117-day premiere world voyage. This epic journey began right here on the Elbe River in early January. With her arrival, the ocean liner also provides a perfect maritime prelude to the upcoming 837th Hamburg Port Anniversary.

For the crew, today is an enormous logistical undertaking. Within just under twelve hours, thousands of passengers must disembark, and the cabins need to be cleaned. While fresh provisions and fuel are being loaded on the port side, the roughly 3,000 new guests are already boarding via the starboard side. With a length of over 322 meters, the "Queen Anne" proves that she is perfectly equipped for such complex operations.

This very evening, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, it will be time to cast off again. The ship will leave the Port of Hamburg for a nine-day expedition into the Norwegian fjords. Leaving behind the warmer waters of Asia and Africa, the vessel is now heading straight into the spectacular natural landscapes of Northern Europe.
