Mein Schiff Flow Review: The Agora Deck & New Freedom at the Stern
The architectural centerpiece and absolute highlight is the "Agora" deck at the stern on decks 16 and 17. Inspired by Greek market squares, this area breaks with classic pool deck design. Instead of a simple row of sunbeds, guests can expect a terraced landscape that opens up the view from port to starboard. The central element is the infinity pool integrated into the steel structure, whose edge visually merges with the horizon. Framed by an open bar and lounge islands, a socio-cultural meeting point is created here that is far more than just a swimming area – it is a place to "see and be seen" in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Flow also breaks with tradition in the upper areas. The "Marcoon" roof spans the main pool, a woven grid structure that ensures a unique play of light and shadow and shades the integrated jogging track. Those who prefer it even more exclusive will find a new retreat on Deck 19, the "Mistral Deck." Here, at the highest point of the ship, a soft floor invites guests to yoga sessions, while a glazed barrel sauna offers views otherwise reserved for the captain.
In terms of cuisine and atmosphere, the ship is entirely dedicated to the eponymous "Flow" – the intuitive act of drifting. While the sister ship Mein Schiff Relax focuses on tranquility, the Flow emphasizes lightness and encounter. This is also reflected in the gastronomy: From the Greek "Taverna Dionysos" to the high-end concept "Fugu" by Tim Raue, architecture is made palatable here. With the Mein Schiff Flow, TUI Cruises creates a successful symbiosis of technical innovation and the feeling of a Mediterranean summer that never ends.
