Royal Caribbean has decided to give the Harmony of the Seas a major refresh. Their goal is to ensure the ship remains attractive to a wide audience and stays ahead of the competition.
- Culinary Delights: The dining options will be expanded. Look forward to the casual Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, the Mexican El Loco Fresh, and the upscale Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse. Additionally, the new pool bar The Lime & Coconut will add a Caribbean vibe.
- Leisure Areas: The pool deck will be completely redesigned in a Caribbean style. At the same time, the Solarium, a relaxation area exclusively for adults, will be refreshed. This creates separate zones so that both families and those seeking tranquility can relax.
- Entertainment & Suites: The Casino Royale will be expanded and is set to become the largest in the entire fleet after the refit. For families, there is a very special new feature: the Ultimate Family Suite. This two-story suite is not only huge but even has its own slide.
This modernization is part of a larger strategy. The Ovation of the Seas and the Liberty of the Seas are also receiving upgrades, which are specifically tailored to their respective routes and guests. Each ship, therefore, gets its own unique update.
The renovation of the Harmony of the Seas is planned for 2026. After that, the ship will begin a short season from Barcelona in May 2026 before heading to its new home port in Port Canaveral, Florida, in August 2026. From there, it will embark on 5- and 7-night cruises to the Caribbean.
