Today, on Sunday, August 10, 2025, the AIDAluna and AIDAsol are sharing Hamburg’s port for their scheduled guest exchange. The two vessels already crossed paths on Saturday evening in the German Bight, specifically between Helgoland and Cuxhaven. They navigated the Elbe passage one after the other, eventually reaching their respective berths in Hamburg. The AIDAluna is tied up at the quay of the Cruise Center Altona, while the AIDAsol is docked further to port at the Cruise Center Steinwerder.

For the AIDAluna, a 14-day discovery tour of Northern Europe titled "Norway with Spitsbergen & Lofoten" concludes today. Throughout the day, new passengers will board for a unique 21-day Iceland and Greenland voyage—the only one of its kind this summer. This itinerary includes three ports in Iceland, four destinations in Greenland, and a stop in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. A special highlight is the journey along Greenland's west coast, a region whose impressive natural beauty is rarely visited by cruise ships. In this area, the ship's crew is supported by experienced ice pilots.

AIDAluna Itinerary from August 10 to 31, 2025: Hamburg – Sea Day – Sea Day – Seydisfjördur – Akureyri – Sea Day – Prins-Christian-Sund (Passage) – Nanortalik – Sea Day – Sea Day – Ilulissat – Ilulissat – Sisimiut – Nuuk – Sea Day – Sea Day – Reykjavik – Sea Day – Sea Day – Kirkwall (Orkney Islands) – Sea Day – Hamburg.

The AIDAsol was already visible to guests on the AIDAluna on Saturday evening. In Hamburg’s port, she is moored a bit further away at the Steinwerder terminal today. A nine-day trip to Great Britain and Norway ended there this Sunday morning. Now, a six-day Scotland cruise to Bremerhaven begins. This can be combined with the subsequent six-day Norway tour to form a 12-day cruise starting and ending in Hamburg.

AIDA Cruises is a Gold Sponsor this year for the maritime event SAiL 2025 in Bremerhaven. For this occasion, the AIDAsol's port call in the city on the Weser River has been strategically planned. On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the Rostock-based shipping company will showcase its ship with an impressive nightly light show on the Weser. This will be a special highlight for all passengers who have booked the entire 12-day cruise through Germany, Scotland, and Norway.

AIDAsol Itinerary from August 10 to 22, 2025: Hamburg – Sea Day – Invergordon – Kirkwall (Orkney Islands) – Aberdeen – Sea Day – Bremerhaven – Sea Day – Haugesund – Eidfjord – Bergen – Sea Day – Hamburg.
