For the MSC Poesia, the call at the Baltic seaside resort is part of its regular schedule. The ship is conducting a partial passenger turnaround after completing a one-week Baltic Sea cruise. The previous itinerary included stops in Gdynia (Poland), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), Stockholm (Sweden), and Copenhagen (Denmark). Copenhagen serves as the secondary port for passenger exchange, primarily used by international guests. The upcoming voyage will take the MSC Poesia on a Norwegian route, visiting Stavanger, Eidfjord, Kristiansand, and Oslo.
The luxury vessel Silver Shadow is currently on a 12-day Baltic Sea journey that began in Copenhagen and will conclude in Hamburg. Since the cruise started, the ship has already visited ports in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia. The stop in Warnemünde is one of its final calls before it continues its journey late this evening through the Kiel Canal towards Hamburg, where the cruise will end on July 22, 2025, at the Cruise Center HafenCity.
For the Viking Saturn, a modern ship from Viking Ocean Cruises, today marks only its second visit to Warnemünde. Its inaugural call took place on July 8, 2025. The ship is currently on a voyage from Stockholm, Sweden, to Bergen, Norway, and is making a stopover in Warnemünde.
In the evening, spectators can look forward to a special spectacle as the three ocean giants depart from the port one after another. As is tradition, their departures will be accompanied by small excursion boats. The MSC Poesia will be the first to leave at 5:00 PM. The Viking Saturn will follow at 9:00 PM, and the Silver Shadow will be the last to leave the port of Warnemünde at approximately 11:00 PM.
