The cruise line AIDA Cruises has announced a major overhaul of its beverage packages. This change will take effect for all new bookings made from July 15, 2025, and coincides with the introduction of a new fare model, which the company announced at the same time.

Reduction to Two Packages Each for Adults and Children

In the future, the selection for passengers will be simplified to just two options each for adults and two for children and teens. With this move, the cruise line is significantly streamlining its previous offerings.

The most comprehensive package, called "All In," is an integral part of the Comfort All In, Premium All In, and Classic All In fares. The company notes that booking through these fares offers a price advantage compared to adding it later via the myAIDA portal. A key restriction relates to the length of the voyage: the "All In" package, like the fares that include it, is exclusively available for trips of five days or longer, thereby excluding short trips and special cruises.

In contrast, the "FUN" and "Kids and Teens FUN" packages can be booked flexibly for all voyage lengths, making them available for shorter cruises as well.

Booking Conditions and Onboard Regulations

Guests traveling on PREMIUM, CLASSIC, or LIGHT fares have the option to add their desired beverage package up to three days before departure via the myAIDA online portal. It should be noted that the specific selection of beverages may vary slightly depending on the itinerary, travel period, and the specific restaurant or bar on board.

An important rule applies to bookings: all adult travelers sharing a cabin must select the same beverage package. However, this obligation does not extend across generations, allowing parents and children to book different packages.

At this time, AIDA Cruises has not yet released any information regarding the prices of the new beverage packages.
