TUI Cruises: Mein Schiff 4 Mediterranean Voyage 2026 Cancelled – HYROX Charters Ship for Fitness Event

The reason for the cancellation is the acceptance of a full charter request for the vessel. The fitness event organizer HYROX has exclusively booked the Mein Schiff 4 from October 21 to October 25, 2026. This four-night special use makes it impossible to operate the originally planned, longer cruise.

However, a new travel opportunity arises from the remaining period after the four-day HYROX event. TUI Cruises will launch a new seven-night Mediterranean cruise, starting and ending in Palma de Mallorca. Guests whose original bookings had to be canceled will receive a pre-booking right for this newly designed itinerary. Independently of this, the cruise line will grant affected customers a Mein Schiff travel credit, combined with a 10% discount.

Such subsequent full charter agreements are established practice within the cruise industry, even if they occasionally lead to the cancellation of trips already on sale.

Bookings for the special HYROX event at sea will be handled exclusively by the organizer HYROX itself and are not available through TUI Cruises' channels. Detailed information regarding this fitness cruise will therefore be provided solely by HYROX.

HYROX is an emerging competitive sports format that combines running segments with functional workout stations. Participants complete eight one-kilometer runs, interspersed with various fitness exercises.
