Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and the Italian shipyard Fincantieri have finalized contracts for the construction of a new generation of cruise ships. The agreement includes four vessels, which will be built in Monfalcone and delivered to NCL in 2030, 2032, 2034, and 2036. With a gross tonnage (GT) of 226,000, these newbuilds will be the largest ships in the history of the cruise line, surpassing the 200,000 GT mark for the first time.
