Brennstoffzellen auf See: Meyer Werft treibt klimafreundliche Schifffahrt voran

Die Meyer Werft in Papenburg ist maßgeblich an einem zukunftsweisenden Projekt beteiligt, das die Schifffahrt revolutionieren soll: die Entwicklung von Brennstoffzellen für maritime Anwendungen. Ziel ist es, die Hochseeschifffahrt zu dekarbonisieren und damit einen entscheidenden Beitrag zum Klimaschutz zu leisten. Gemeinsam mit den Partnern Freudenberg Fuel Cell e-Power Systems und dem Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) arbeitet die Werft im Rahmen des Projekts Zero4Cruises an innovativen Lösungen. Das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz unterstützt das Vorhaben mit einer Förderung in Höhe von 18,7 Millionen Euro.
