Der Ostseehafen Kiel zieht für die Kreuzfahrtsaison 2024 eine positive Bilanz. Am Montag, den 4. November, markierte der Anlauf der AIDAluna das Ende der Hauptsaison in Kiel. Seit Beginn des Jahres liefen bereits 167 Hochsee-Kreuzfahrtschiffe den Hafen an, und weitere drei Anläufe sind in der Vorweihnachtszeit geplant. Zusätzlich fanden dieses Jahr 14 Anläufe von Flusskreuzfahrtschiffen statt.
