Die MSC Grandiosa befindet sich seit Sonntag für einen planmäßigen Werftaufenthalt auf Malta außer Dienst. Ihre letzte Fahrt im westlichen Mittelmeer für die Sommersaison 2024 endete im Hafen von Livorno. Dort gingen alle Gäste an Land, bevor das Kreuzfahrtschiff Kurs auf die Palumbo Shipyard nahm, eine Werft, die regelmäßig für Wartungsarbeiten der MSC-Flotte genutzt wird.
