Aktuell absolviert die Independence of the Seas von Royal Caribbean International ihre diesjährige Europatour, die in Southampton, England, beginnt und endet. Auf der laufenden Norwegenkreuzfahrt, die vom 29. Juni bis zum 6. Juli 2025 dauert, ist das Schiff gezwungen, eine geplante Hafenanfahrt ausfallen zu lassen. Der für den heutigen Dienstag, den 1. Juli 2025, vorgesehene Halt in Ålesund kann nicht realisiert werden.
