Since mid-November of last year, AIDAbella has been operating 14-day itineraries throughout the Caribbean. These voyages included stops at various islands as well as selected destinations in Central America. La Romana, alongside Montego Bay in Jamaica and Fort-de-France in Martinique, served as key turnaround ports. The vessel is now setting course for Northern Europe, where it will be deployed during the 2025 summer season.
Some passengers for the longer transatlantic voyage are already onboard. They embarked several days ago during a port call in Fort-de-France for either a 25-day journey to Hamburg or a 16-day leg ending in Gran Canaria. Today, they are joined by guests booked on a ten-day segment to Gran Canaria or a 19-day cruise to Hamburg. A partial passenger turnaround is scheduled in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, on April 15, 2025, before the ship commences the Western European part of its itinerary.
AIDAbella will not return to the Caribbean for the upcoming 2025/26 winter season. Instead, its deployment region from November 2025 to January 2026 will be the Canary Islands. Immediately afterwards, the ship is scheduled for a comprehensive refurbishment. Under the "AIDA Evolution" program, AIDAbella will be taken out of service at a shipyard in Marseille from January 22 to March 10, 2026. The resumption of Caribbean cruises with the modernized AIDAbella is planned only after this work is completed, for the 2026/27 winter season.
Current AIDAbella Itinerary (April 5 - April 24, 2025):
