The recent upgrades added 47 new cabins, including 32 suites—expanding the ship’s premium accommodations by 52% in response to growing demand for high-end lodging. Additionally, 15 interior cabins were introduced, increasing the vessel’s total capacity by 7.4%.
Among the new suites are 30 Junior Dream Suites (25 m² with a balcony) and two Grand Horizon Suites (42 m²), featuring a separate living area and a spacious 15.5 m² balcony. Positioned above the bridge, the Grand Horizon Suites offer unparalleled views.
A standout addition is the "Smoked Olive" restaurant, exclusively for suite guests, offering complimentary meals and an optional à la carte menu. Passengers in other cabin categories may dine there for dinner, subject to availability. Later in the season, the "Grill Seekers" pop-up restaurant will debut, serving regional specialties inspired by the ship’s destinations, along with bookable private dining areas.
Since joining the Celestyal fleet in November 2022, the Discovery has undergone continuous modernization. Beyond cabin upgrades, all public spaces were refreshed, and new features like the "Café Nation" coffee bar, "Pizza Oven", and "Greek Deli" complimentary restaurants were introduced.
Through November, the Celestyal Discovery will operate "Iconic Greek Islands" cruises (4-5 days) from Athens, stopping in Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes, and Santorini. Prices start at €339 (interior cabin), €1,009 (Junior Dream Suite), and €1,249 (Grand Horizon Suite)—including full-board dining, non-alcoholic beverages, WiFi, and gratuities.
