Strong winds and high waves along Morocco's Atlantic coast led to the closure of the port in Agadir. With no immediate improvement in weather conditions forecasted, the scheduled stop of Mein Schiff 7 in Agadir was canceled. TUI Cruises acted swiftly, devising an alternative route to ensure a seamless journey for its passengers.
Instead of Agadir, the cruise ship will now dock at Puerto del Rosario on Fuerteventura. Mein Schiff 7 is expected to arrive there at 7:00 PM this evening and will remain in port until 8:00 PM on Tuesday evening. Following this, the ship will continue its journey as planned, with an overnight stay in Arrecife on Lanzarote, followed by stops in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Sebastian de La Gomera. The cruise will conclude as originally scheduled on March 23 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
While the route adjustment means the omission of one of the trip's main destinations, passengers will now enjoy an additional highlight with the visit to Fuerteventura. Mein Schiff 7, the second-newest ship in the TUI Cruises fleet, continues to offer its guests a diverse and engaging program.
Original Itinerary (March 16–23, 2025):
Las Palmas – Sea Day – Agadir – Sea Day – Sea Day & Arrecife – Arrecife – Santa Cruz de Tenerife – San Sebastian de La Gomera – Las Palmas
Revised Itinerary (March 16–23, 2025):
Las Palmas – Sea Day & Puerto del Rosario – Puerto del Rosario – Sea Day & Arrecife – Arrecife – Santa Cruz de Tenerife – San Sebastian de La Gomera – Las Palmas
Despite the weather-related changes, Mein Schiff 7 remains true to its reputation as a reliable and comfortable cruise ship, ensuring an unforgettable travel experience for all on board.
